Read What People Are Saying About Me Dear Pam, Jean and I want to thank you for all of your help in finding a lot in the Placerville area. You were extremely patient with us as we changed back in forth from wanting land to wanting a house. You really knew the market like the back of your hand and were able to quickly determine what to show us and what not to. If it hadn’t been for your persistence and you taking the extra step to connect us with a builder, we would have passed on the lot that we ended up buying. We just had the lot graded and are really excited about what we are going to do with the property. We also appreciated your personal touch. Taking the time to show us your house, inviting us to the July 4th festivities at Greenstone Country and introducing us to our new neighbors really made a difference for us. We not only consider you to be a great realtor, but also a great friend. Finally, I really appreciate all of the extra work you did to help negotiate our agreement with the sellers. You showed a lot of patience in dealing with my requirements and “attention to detail”. I am quite certain that we would not have reached an agreement with the sellers with any other realtor. Thank you so much,
Ed Kaufmann The Kaufmann Family Dear Pam In all our dealings with Realtors over the past ten years, we have never met anyone as kind, helpful and energetic as you have been. Real Estate Contracts >Legal Documents
The stacks of papers that you have to sign in order to buy a house can leave you confused. The person conducting the closing will ask you to sign your name to countless documents that are filled with legal jargon. Some buyers just barely glance at each form and sign them without a lot of questions, while others find it very frustrating to try to read every form at the closing table.
You should read and understand the papers you sign. If you are getting a loan to buy the property, most of the paperwork will come from the mortgage company. In most cases, there is little time to read everything in advance because the forms arrive at the closing office shortly before closing is scheduled to begin. Most of the documents use standardized language, however, and you should be able to get copies of the documents ahead of time from the lender so that you can have your questions answered and be comfortable with the settlement process.
