The attention to detail is unmatched. This is truly one of the Premiere Show barns in all of California. The near-by covered round pen continues the thematic design with cedar siding and copper gutters. 60 feet in dyameter with a sand floor and overhead lighting, the pen serves as an all-weather riding facility. The covered observation seating area is indicative of the thought put into the pen's design as it the access to the Barn's integrated stero system. Rounding out the major facillities is the 200 X 300 foot arena. Sizeable enough for any riding discipline the arena was built with the same quest for quality. Gently slanted, the drainage is excellent making it a usable facility in most weather conditions. There is a very pleasant obervation seating patio that sits on a raised mound to one side of the arena. Telephone, power and water are all at the finger tips. At its dramatic entrance vertical timber columns spring out of pedestals of Montana river rock announcing its design kinship with the Ranch. The home was designed to bring the outside in with its abundant windows and use of natural finish materials The interior was the project of the award winning Ferraras Interiors. The firm created an environment that is both luxurious, warmly rustic and is artistically brilliant. Below is commentary on the house and its finish from the interior designer, Gaye Ferrara: The Devine main residence was created as a custom heirloom ranch. For the design team headed by Scottsdale, Arizona designer GAYE FERRARA the ranch grew from the very placement of the ranch house with a magnificent 360degree view; each room was placed with the perfect view in mind. The wonderful custom wire brushed windows and interior doors for the home were hand crafted by Southwest windows and Door Company in Tucson Arizona –Jeremy Morrelli, a furniture artist manufacturing in Sante Fe, New Mexico, designed the magnificent entry door. This, one of a kind, door is solid alder with hand made and custom embellishments and hardware. Entering the home, the design team selected striking combinations of materials that relate to make the perfect comfortable and easy living ranch house. The vintage oak floors were the product of a southern barn built more than 100 years ago – the natural nail holes and true distressing of the floors combined with the stunning free form Prichard stone lead to a beautiful and warm base for the ranch house. The custom Line of the spirit rugs are placed thru out the home reflecting the standard and excellence in the collector-quality maintained in the ranch. The FERRARAS design team continued this demand for outstanding quality and Craftsmanship thru out the project. Each artist was carefully selected to unite the design and excellence of the project. All Wood Treasures was selected for the cabinetry, Acacia Metal hand crafted the metal used thru out, Concrete Design created the concrete counter tops and Zen Metal perfected the light plates and door holders. Beautiful chandeliers with solid onyx lenses were selected and custom manufactured in Colorado. Wherever you look in this fine ranch, you will see a detail designed and selected by FERRARAS to accent the charm and make the difference that will catch the eye like the turquoise door to the powder room or the giant stone sink from China or the solid copper bathtub in the master bath.
