The Western States Horse Expo is known throughout the nation as the gold standard of equine expositions, by exhibitors and horsemen alike. This is much more than a large trade show with dozens of world-class clinicians; there is something for everyone, including the Magnificent 7 Stock Horse Championship, an Equine Dream Art Show, Horse Sales, Driving Darby, Young Rider Park, Breed Demonstrations, Seminars, Trail Symposium, BreyerWest, and the Mustang Challenge.
Magnificent 7 All-Around Stock Horse Championship Returns to Horse Expo!
This open competition is based on an event called the World's Championship All-Around Stock Horse Contest originally initiated by Bobby Ingersoll in the 1970s and supported by the Pro Rodeo Hall of Famers Cotton Rosser and Walt Rodman. The contest was held periodically over the years until WSHE CEO and founder Miki Cohen and others resurrected the event after nearly 20 years, and gave the event a permanent home in search of the All-Around Stock Horse Champion.
Each year, more than a dozen of the nation's top riders convene from all across America for an intense one day riding competition, where one horse and one rider demonstrate their skill and versatility in 4 events: herd work, rein work, steer stopping and fence work. The action peaks on Friday Night when seven finalists are just four events away from a $25,000.00 purse, and the best horseman receive the title of Magnificent 7 All-Around Stock Horse Champion What natural horsemanship clinicians have appeared at California's Western States Horse Expo? Your real estate agent's job is to find you the perfect home, in the right location, with all the amenities you want--and at the right price. It is the home inspector's job to find any skeletons in the closet -- or in the plumbing, wiring, roof, basement and beams.
The inspector won't pass or fail a home based on what he or she finds, but will go over the house thoroughly to help you understand the condition of the property you are buying. If there are any serious problems, your inspector can give you a realistic idea of how much the repairs will cost. If there are material defects that were not reflected in the asking price, you will have the opportunity to re-open negotiations with your sellers before you commit to the purchase. A good inspector will also explain the operation of the basic emergency systems such as the main water cut off valve and the circuit breaker box, and will go over items that will need routine maintenance.
